Orange Fluff Salad

This fluffy, creamy, and citrusy Orange Fluff Salad is perfect for any get-together. This retro dessert salad is perfect for a potluck, or as a side dish at your holiday meal. It's always a hit with crowds, and it's super easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 3 oz box Orange Jello
  • 14 oz can Mandarin Oranges
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup cottage cheese optional

Instructions

  • Dump the Cool Whip into a large mixing bowl.
    8 oz Cool Whip
  • Open the box of Orange Jello and pour into the mixing bowl with the Cool Whip. Blend well using a spatula, scraping the sides to get all the jello mixed in.
    3 oz box Orange Jello
  • Add the drained Mandarin oranges, coconut, mini marshmallows, and cottage cheese. Fold into the Jello and Cool Whip mixture to blend evenly. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
    14 oz can Mandarin Oranges, 1 cup mini marshmallows, 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut, 1 cup cottage cheese

Orange Fluff without Cottage Cheese

  • You can omit the cottage cheese, and add in 1 cup of Pineapple Tidbits, or drained, crushed Pineapple. Stir to blend and serve.

Notes

  • Blend the Jello in really well as it make the salad firmer as it sets up.
  • Change the flavor of the Jello and the fruit to make Fluff Salad for Holidays. Orange is perfect for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Lime is perfect for St Patricks, Cherry for Valentines, and Raspberry for Christmas.
