- 12 oz Package of thick cut bacon pork or turkey bacon
- ½ teaspoon Pepper to taste optional
Place 4 to 5 slice of bacon in the air fryer basket. If your basket is larger you can cook more than 4 to 5 slices. Make sure to space the bacon so it is a single layer.

Turn the temperature to 350° F and cook for 7 minutes for regular cut bacon. For thick cut bacon cook for 9 minutes.
After the bacon is done cooking, carefully transfer to paper towels to absorb any excess oils.
Serve immediately.
For Air Fryer Turkey Bacon
If cooking Turkey Bacon, cook at 300° F, as Turkey Bacon is leaner and dries out to quickly. Cook for the same 7 minutes for regular thickness, 9 minutes for thick cut. Transfer to a plate when cooking is complete. Turkey bacon is so lean there is little fat to absorb. Serve immediately.
- Cutting the long bacon pieces in half lets them fit easier in smaller air fryer baskets.
- Store leftover pieces of bacon in a glass container in the fridge.
