Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer choose a size best suited for your family

Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes russets
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon powdered Buttermilk Ranch Powder Hidden Valley, Trader Joe's, Walmart, ect.
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Scrub any dirt off the potatoes, then slice in half lengthwise. Cut each potato half into four wedges.
  • This is the shake and bake phase. I use any plastic bag (that doesn't have a hole in it!). A vegetable produce bag from the grocery store, or a Ziploc bag is perfect.
    4 potatoes
  • Spread the seasoned potato wedges in the air fryer tray or basket, taking care to only make one layer so the hot convection air can cook and brown each potato wedge evenly to crispy goodness.
2 tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, 3 tablespoon powdered Buttermilk Ranch Powder
  • Set the cook temperature to 400 degrees F and cook for 25 to 30 minutes. There is no need to preheat an air fryer, as the small space heats up in less than a minute.
  • Check at 15 minutes to see if the potato wedges are browning evenly, turning if needed.
  • Remove from the air fryer, and transfer the hot potato wedges with tongs to a serving tray. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure to dry the potatoes before adding them to the plastic bag or adding the oil. This will ensure they crisp up well.
  • Make sure to coat the potatoes well with the olive oil, this allows the seasonings to stick to them during the air frying.
  • Make sure you have enough space between your wedges so that the air fryer can move air around them. This ensures they cook evenly and are crisp on all surfaces.
