A Grasshopper Martini is always a great option for a hot summer evening cocktail, as well as St. Patrick's Day and Christmas festivities. Refreshing, decadent, and utterly delicious.

- 1 oz Crème de Cacoa the clear or "white" variety.
- 1 oz Crème de Menthe
- 4 oz Half & Half or cream
- 6 Maraschino cherries drained and on two skewers
- ½ cup ice large chunks
Chill your Crème de Cocoa and Crème de Menthe several hours in the refrigerator. This will allow you to make a cold cocktail with less ice.
Measure the Crème de Cocoa into a shot glass and pour into the cocktail shaker.
1 oz Crème de Cacoa
Next, measure the Crème de Menthe into the shot glass and pour it also into the cocktail shaker.
1 oz Crème de Menthe
Use either Half & Half or cream. Measure with the shot glass and add to the cocktail shaker with the Crème de Cocoa and Crème de Menthe.
4 oz Half & Half
Add the ice into the cocktail shaker and give a few shakes. Pour into two martini glasses and garnish with a few skewered Maraschino cherries.
½ cup ice, 6 Maraschino cherries
- If you want a 'Skinny' version Grasshopper Martini, use whole milk instead. Your Grasshopper martini will be less thick and creamy, but still wonderfully delicious.
- Costco has great store brand alcohol copycats at great savings, but I have found them to be a little thinner consistency than the originals. For best results, try to use for the branded versions of the alcohol.
