- 1½ cup yogurt Greek
- 1 medium banana peeled & chunked
- 1 cup blueberries fresh - washed, stemmed, and drained
- 1 cup blackberries fresh - washed and drained
- 1 cup strawberries fresh - washed, stemmed, and drained
- 2 strawberries garnish, optional
Start by washing your berries and removing any stems. Put them in a colander so you can shake excess water off. Don't soak the berries in a bowl of water though, as they will suck and absorb water.
Peel the banana, slice into chunks, and add to the blender. Add the blueberries to the blender, then the blackberries.
1 medium banana, 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup blackberries
Add the strawberries on top of the blueberries and blackberries. The blueberries are the smallest so they will get down into the blades and air crannies. During the blending, they will pull down the blackberries and larger strawberries into the vortex for a uniform blend.
1 cup strawberries
Add the Greek yogurt (or any yogurt or milk, dairy or plant based) to the ingredients in the blender. Place the cap back on and start with slow, building up speed until you have a velvety smoothie.
1½ cup yogurt
Pour into two glasses and garnish with a strawberry, sprig of mint, or a sprinkle of granola! Serve immediately.
2 strawberries
- Cut the banana into ½" slices. Load the rest of the fruit in order of smallest size to largest size so the blender vortex pulls everything down.
- Don't forget to place the cover back on the blender before starting the blender!
- You can substitute the Greek yogurt for any variety of milk, including plant based!
- You can make a Frozen Strawberry Blueberry Banana Smoothie by using Wyman's Triple Berry blend frozen berries!
- Always load a blender with the softest ingredient first (banana) then additional items by size, smallest first, largest last. This will allow your blender to create a vortex and blend evenly.
