Crumbl Style Strawberry Crunch Cookies

These delicious Crumbl style strawberry crunch cookies are delightfully easy to make and perfect for indulging in. Each of these big strawberry sugar cookies are topped with cream cheese buttercream and a strawberry cookie crunch crumble.

Ingredients

For the Cookie Base

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix any brand
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

Cookie Cream Cheese Buttercream

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Strawberry Crunch Topping

  • 8 Golden Oreos Vanilla Oreos
  • 1 3 oz Strawberry Jello small 3.0 oz box
  • 3 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a rimmed baking sheet or cookie tray with parchment paper, and set aside.
  • In a large bowl mix together cake mix, oil, and eggs until everything is well incorporated.
    1 box strawberry cake mix, ½ cup vegetable oil, 2 large eggs
  • Drop 8 large spoonfuls of cookie dough onto cookie sheets. Four cookies per sheet is best.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes and then cool on a cooling rack.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream until thick and creamy.
    4 oz cream cheese, 2 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoon heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Transfer the cream cheese buttercream to a piping bag and pipe each cookie with a zig zag.
  • Make this strawberry crunch recipe for the topping by combining the strawberry Jello and Golden Oreo cookies and crushing them together to blend into a coarse mixture.
    8 Golden Oreos, 1 3 oz Strawberry Jello
  • Add the melted butter to the Oreo and Jello mixture, stirring to combine into strawberry crunch topping. Add the strawberry crunch topping to each cookie. Let sit for frosting to set up or serve immediately.
    3 tablespoon butter

Notes

  • You can also make the cookie base from scratch with our pink sugar cookie recipe.
  • Don't over bake the cookies, they will continue to cook for a few minutes while cooling!
  • You can also use store bought cream cheese frosting.
