Ingredients

  • 2 Frozen Waffles any kind
  • butter optional, but not optional!
  • Maple Syrup any brand
  • Blueberries or other fresh fruit

Instructions

  • Warm your maple syrup up ahead of time, so it does not cool down your waffles when you drizzle it on your hot air fryer waffles!
    Maple Syrup
  • Remove frozen waffles from the packaging, and spread out in the bottom of the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    2 Frozen Waffles
  • Set the air fryer temperature for 320 F, and the time for 4 minutes for perfectly toasted, hot and fluffy waffles!
PRO TIP: For softer, lighter toasting, air fry for 3 minutes, and for crispier, air fry for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the hot waffles using a fork (they are HOT!) to a plate. Add a pat of butter and drizzle your favorite maple syrup on top! Garnish with some blueberries or other fresh cut fruit. Serve immediately while piping hot.

Notes

  • Air Fryer Chicken and Waffles - It's not just a Southern thing! Air fry some chicken tenders first, then air fry frozen waffles. Stack the still hot chicken tenders on top of buttered hot air fryer waffles and drizzle with your favorite maple syrup!
  • Don't store frozen waffles in the freezer more than 3 months. Only buy what you need for a month at a time, so they don't freezer burn or taste bland.
  • Store frozen waffles at the back of the freezer, where they stay the coldest.
  • Warm the maple syrup up prior to placing the frozen waffles in the air fryer. This way the maple syrup won't cool down the waffles.
