Air Fryer Toaster Strudel

Did you know that when you air fry toaster strudel, they turn our even better than making them in a pop-up toaster? Toaster strudels in air fryer have all that warm, gooey goodness as you remember from childhood also!

Ingredients

  • 4 Pillsbury Toaster Strudels
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar optional

Instructions

  • Set the air fryer to 350 F. Spritz the air fryer basket with some non stick spray, or use a small piece of parchment paper, just in case the toaster strudel filling leaks during air frying. Set the icing packets aside for later.
  • Lay the Pillsbury toaster strudel in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If using a large slide out tray air fryer, you can fill each tray in a single layer also.

  • Slice the air fryer basket or trays into the air fryer. Make sure the temperature is at 350 F, and set the timer for 5 minutes. Check, and if not quite golden brown, air fry from an additional 2 minutes. You don't have to flip the toaster strudel but you can if they are not browning evenly.
  • Remove the air fryer basket or slide out trays. Using tongs, fork, or small pancake flipper, transfer the toaster strudels to a serving plate.
  • While still hot, snip the end off the icing packets and drizzle on a golden brown, hot toaster strudels. Or, simply dust with a little powdered sugar!

Notes

  • Use parchment paper or a spritz of non stick cooking spray for an easy wipe clean up.
  • Set the icing packets on the counter to soften to room temperature before squeezing on the hot toaster strudels.
  • Check toaster strudels in air fryer after 5 minutes. Depending on your air fryer you may need up to 2 additional minutes of air frying.
