Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon Chili powder bulk, generic
  • 4 tablespoon Smoked paprika
  • 4 tablespoon Cumin ground
  • ½ teaspoon Chipotle powder optional
  • 4 tablespoon Garlic powder or granules
  • 4 tablespoon Salt

Instructions

  • Measure out all the spices into a mixing bowl.
4 tablespoon Chili powder, 4 tablespoon Smoked paprika, 4 tablespoon Cumin, 4 tablespoon Garlic powder, 4 tablespoon Salt
  • Mix the spices until they are evenly blended.
  • Transfer your homemade fajita spice mix to Ball canning jars or small spice jars.
  • Store in a cool, dry location.
PRO TIP: Spices last longer when stored out of the light. A dark pantry or cupboard away from oven heat is best.

Notes

  • Make sure that all of the spices are fresh. Old spices will not have as much flavor.
  • Store the fajita seasoning mix in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
  • Use the fajita seasoning mix within 6 months for the best flavor.
