Ingredients

  • ½ onion minced small
  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup bread crumbs dry, seasoned or plain
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper ground
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil to coat air fryer basket
  • Hamburger Buns and burger condiments

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped onion, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
½ onion, 2 lb ground turkey, 1 cup bread crumbs, 2 teaspoon soy sauce, 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning, ½ teaspoon black pepper, salt
  • Mix the ground turkey and seasonings with your hands until combined well.
  • Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and shape into burger patties. Refrigerate or freeze the patties until ready to use.
  • Brush the air fryer basket with some vegetable oil. Don't use non stick cooking spray, as the aerosol propellants can damage the heating element.
PRO TIP: Spray oil using a pump oil sprayer.
    1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Air fry turkey burgers at 350 F for 15 minutes, flipping half way through the cooking time.
  • Transfer the air fried turkey burgers to a serving platter and serve with your favorite burger fixings.
    Hamburger Buns

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add ¼ cup of your favorite shredded cheese to the patty mixture before forming the patties.
  • If you don't have a air fryer, you can cook the burgers in a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat. Just cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Be sure to cook the burgers to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
