Amish Coleslaw

Amish coleslaw is a classic side dish that's made with a vinegar dressing.

Shred green and red cabbage, or buy in a bag.

Prepare vinegar coleslaw dressing.

Place shredded cabbage in a large mixing bowl.

TIP: Used a bag of coleslaw mix!

Pour the old fashioned vinegar coleslaw dressing over the shredded cabbage.

Toss coleslaw to coat, then chill for up to 24 hours.

Old fashioned Amish Coleslaw is safe to serve at potlucks as it has no mayonnaise to spoil while sitting out.
