Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies

The subtle earthy flavor or matcha green tea is complemented by the sweet white chocolate chips in these Matcha White Chocolate Cookies.

Look for the vibrant green  Matcha green tea powder.

Cream together the butter, sugar, and egg.

Sift or blend all the dry ingredients together, including the powdered Matcha green tea.

Add the dry ingredients and  white chocolate chips to the creamed ingredients for a stiff green tea cookie dough.

Place matcha green tea cookie dough balls on a baking sheet.

Flatten slightly and stud with some white chips.

Bake for 13-15 minutes, at 350F, removing before they brown.

Remove from oven and let them sit for 5 minutes before transfering.

Use a wide mouth cup to squish the cookie edges into a perfect cookie circles.
