Upside Down Pecan Cake

Pecan Upside Down Cake has a sticky caramel & pecan topping topped  with a dense vanilla blondie base.

Once flipped, you get a sticky  caramel and crunchy pecan topping!

Mix the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, salt & pecans in a bowl, then chill until thick.

Spread the thick pecan mixture in the bottom of a skillet or cake pan.

Mix the blondie batter together.

Add the blondie batter on top of the pecan mixture.

Spread the batter out evenly on top of the pecan mixture and bake.

Remove when golden brown and tooth pick comes out clean.

After cooling 5 minutes, flip  the upside down pecan cake on top a plate & serve.
