- 1¼ cup Milk Room temperature
- 2 tablespoon Butter Room temperature
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoon Sugar
- 3 cup Bread flour
- 2¼ teaspoon Instant Yeast or 1 envelope
Start with the milk by pouring it into the bread maker baking pan.

Next, add the butter, salt, and sugar. Make sure the butter has been softened to room temperature first.

Add the flour next. Finally, sprinkle the Instant yeast over the top of the flour, and close the lid securely.

Select the "white bread" setting on the bread machine. Press start and let the bread machine do its work! The bread will be done baking in about 3 hours.
Remove the bread from the bread machine and let it cool on a wire rack.
Before slicing, double check the that the small metal dough paddle is not inside the bottom of the bread.
