Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak Hoagies

Ingredients

  • 3 large Chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning
  • 2 cup Buffalo sauce store or homemade
  • ½ cup Butter 1 stick
  • 8 Hoagie rolls or Hawaiian dinner rolls for sliders
  • 1 cup Blue cheese crumbles or Gorgonzola (milder)
  • 16 slices Provolone deli sliced

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning mix over the meat.
    3 large Chicken breast, 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning
  • Pour the store bought or homemade Buffalo sauce over the chicken and ranch dressing.
    2 cup Buffalo sauce
  • Lay the butter on top of the buffalo sauce covered chicken and put the lid on the slow cooker.
    ½ cup Butter
  • Cook the buffalo cheesesteak mixture for 5 hours on LOW.
  • Turn the slow cooker to WARM and using two forks, shred the chicken and blend into the buffalo sauce in the slow cooker.
  • Load the bottom potion of a hoagie with the shredded buffalo chicken, then top with slices of Provolone cheese and Blue cheese crumbles. Serve hot and enjoy!
    8 Hoagie rolls, 1 cup Blue cheese crumbles, 16 slices Provolone

Notes

  • You can make this buffalo chicken cheesesteak recipe in a Dutch oven or large pot. Simply cook the chicken and buffalo sauce in the pot over medium heat until the chicken is cooked through. Then, shred the chicken and assemble the sandwiches.
  • If you like your sandwiches extra cheesy, add more provolone cheese.
  • You can also add other toppings to your sandwiches, such as lettuce, tomato, or onions.
