  • Butter - Salted or unsalted, either is fine for this recipe.
  • Hoagie rolls - Or whatever style of sandwich bun you prefer. You can make sliders with the Kings Hawaiian Dinner rolls!
  • Blue cheese crumbles - Sold in the tub, or crumble your own from Trader Joe's Gorgonzola, which is a milder flavored blue cheese.
  • Provolone cheese - Sliced in the deli packets.
  • Black pepper - To taste.

Season The Chicken

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning mix over the meat.

Slow Cook In Buffalo Sauce

  1. Pour the store bought or homemade Buffalo sauce over the chicken and ranch dressing.

  2. Lay the butter on top of the buffalo sauce covered chicken and put the lid on the slow cooker.

  3. Cook the buffalo cheesesteak mixture for 5 hours on LOW.

  4. Turn the slow cooker to WARM and using two forks, shred the chicken and blend into the buffalo sauce in the slow cooker.

  1. Load the bottom potion of a hoagie with the shredded buffalo chicken, then top with slices of Provolone cheese and Blue cheese crumbles. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • Crock Pot 6 qt Slow cooker
  • Crockpot Smart Pot, 6 quart

Ingredients

  • 3 large Chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning
  • 2 cup Buffalo sauce store or homemade
  • ½ cup Butter 1 stick
  • 8 Hoagie rolls or Hawaiian dinner rolls for sliders
  • 1 cup Blue cheese crumbles or Gorgonzola (milder)
  • 16 slices Provolone deli sliced

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and sprinkle the dry ranch seasoning mix over the meat.
    3 large Chicken breast, 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning
