- Tomato paste - Or, use ketchup.
- Cornstarch
- Honey
- Molasses
- Worcestershire sauce
- Ginger - Fresh grated or ground.

- Liquid Smoke - Or, if you want some heat, use Chipotle chili powder (Chipotle chili powder is actually smoked, ground Jalapenos).
