Substitutions and Variations

Here are a few substitutions and variations when making this mint berry sangria recipe:

Equipment

Equipment can have a big impact on how a recipe turns out. Below are some of my favorite pieces of equipment that I use when making this this mint berry white sangria recipe.

  • Beverage Pitcher, 72 oz
  • Beverage Dispenser (2.6 gallon) on Wooden Pedestal
  • Party Beverage Dispenser (2 gallon) with Stainless Steel Pedestal

Storage and Reheating

  • If you have leftover sangria, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It will no longer have the fizzy sparkle, but it will still taste delicious!
  • You can also freeze leftover sangria and fruit in ice cube trays and use them to make stunning sparkling water cocktails!

Tips for Success

  • Use a good quality sparkling white wine. White Moscato is on the sweet side, Prosecco is on the dry side. Cava is Spanish sparkling wine, and it come in sweet and dry varieties also.
  • Sparkling grape juice is a perfect non alcoholic option.
  • Don't over-sweeten the sangria. The natural sweetness of the berries and muddled peaches should be enough.
  • Chill the muddled fruit for at least an hour before adding the sparkling wine and sparkling water. This allows the flavors to blend.
