Blackstone Philly Cheesesteaks Ingredients
Ribeye steak is the best meat for making Philly cheesesteaks. Slice it very thin, or purchase it pre-sliced in the freezer section. Ribeye steak as a great marbled texture, keeping it moist and tender when cooked on the Blackstone griddle.
- Shaved Ribeye Steak - You can also use sirloin or prime rib. Just make sure it's very, very thinly sliced. The butcher will do so, if you ask.
- Vegetable oil - Olive or any neutral vegetable oil.
- Baby Bella Mushrooms - Sliced.
- Onion - White or Yellow, sliced thin.
- Bell Pepper - Green, sliced thin.
- Seasoning salt - Any brand. Or, try our Montreal Steak Seasoning recipe!
- Garlic powder
- Provolone cheese - Sliced. Provolone cheese is traditional, but American cheese and Cheese Whiz is also often used.
- Mayonnaise
- Hoagie Buns - My favorite buns are actually Mexican Bolillos, as they are soft inside and a little crusty on the outside. Many grocery stores sell them in the deli in the self serve section of the bakery department.
