Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken wings cut into drumettes and flats
  • cup Honey Gold barbecue sauce store bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a sheet pan with parchment paper, or use a grilling rack.
  • Rinse and pat the chicken wings dry. If using full wings, cut into drumettes and flats, discarding the tips (or saving for chicken stock).
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, honey, Honey Gold BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.

  • Spread chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or grilling rack.
    PRO TIP: You can cook these Honey Gold chicken wings on the grill also. Just preheat your grill to medium heat and cook the wings for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy.
  • Bake chicken wings for 30-35 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure to preheat your oven or grill to the correct temperature. This will help the wings cook with a crispy crust.
  • Don't overcook the wings. They should be cooked until they're crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
  • If you're cooking the wings in the oven, make sure to line the baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
