Air Fryer Chicken Leg Quarters are a delicious and convenient way to enjoy crispy, flavorful chicken. These budget-friendly chicken pieces are cooked to perfection in your air fryer, for the best juicy, golden brown chicken quarters you've ever had!
Rinse the chicken quarters and pat them dry with paper towels. If there are globs of fat hanging on them, cut that off and discard.
Place the chicken leg quarters to a gallon size zipper storage bag.
2 chicken leg quarters
Add the olive oil and seal the zipper bag, moving the chicken in the bag with your hands to coat with the oil.
1 tablespoon olive oil
Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and salt to the chicken in the bag. Seal again, keeping air in the bag, and shake around so that the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.
1 teaspoon smoked paprika, ¼ teaspoon garlic granules, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, ½ teaspoon salt
Place chicken in the air fryer basket, skin side down, and set 375℉ for 25 - 30 minutes, or until the internal temp of 165°F to 180°F is reached. Flip the chicken leg quarters skin side up halfway through cooking time.
Transfer the chicken to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
If you prefer a spicier chicken, add cayenne pepper or chili powder to the seasoning mix.
Marinate the chicken the evening before with your favorite marinade or salad dressing.
