Air fryer turkey burgers are a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional beef burgers. They're made with ground turkey, which is a lean protein. Air frying the burgers helps keep them juicy, while reducing fat and calories.
In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped onion, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
½ onion, 2 lb ground turkey, 1 cup bread crumbs, 2 teaspoon soy sauce, 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning, ½ teaspoon black pepper, salt
Mix the ground turkey and seasonings with your hands until combined well.
Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and shape into burger patties. Refrigerate or freeze the patties until ready to use.
Brush the air fryer basket with some vegetable oil. Don't use non stick cooking spray, as the aerosol propellants can damage the heating element. PRO TIP: Spray oil using a pump oil sprayer.
1 teaspoon olive oil
Air fry turkey burgers at 350 F for 15 minutes, flipping half way through the cooking time.
Transfer the air fried turkey burgers to a serving platter and serve with your favorite burger fixings.

Notes
For extra flavor, add ¼ cup of your favorite shredded cheese to the patty mixture before forming the patties.
If you don't have a air fryer, you can cook the burgers in a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat. Just cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
Be sure to cook the burgers to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
