Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Allspice
  • ½ Tablespoon White Granulated Sugar
  • ½ Tablespoon Ground Ginger
  • ½ Tablespoon Ground Clove
  • ½ Tablespoon Dried Thyme

Instructions

  • Combine all of your ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  • Stir contents to evenly combine, breaking any lumps up.
  • Store in an airtight and moisture resistant container in a dry, cool area for up to 2 months.

Notes

  • If you plan on making this with chicken then I definitely suggest swapping out the salt for chicken bouillon. You can thank me later.
  • This seasoning works well when added to different kinds of sauces, marinades, and soups, so don’t be afraid to experiment with it!
  • Light, moisture, and heat can degrade the flavor of spices. Store your jerk seasoning in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
