Ingredients

  • 8 oz Brie cheese wheel
  • ¼ cup Cranberry sauce whole berry
  • 2 tablespoon dried cranberries
  • ½ cup Walnuts chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 sprigs rosemary

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat.
  • Place the brie on the prepared baking sheet and set it in the oven to bake for 10 minutes.
    8 oz Brie cheese wheel
  • Remove the brie from the oven, use a sharp knife slice the top crust off the brie wheel, exposing the creamy layer underneath.
  • Spread your cranberry sauce on top of the creamy top of the brie. You can make our Ocean Spray Cranberry Orange Relish recipe, your own, or use store bought whole cranberry sauce.
    ¼ cup Cranberry sauce
  • Top the cranberry sauce with a layer of dried cranberries.
    2 tablespoon dried cranberries
  • Drizzle with honey. Scatter the coarse chopped walnuts on top of the cranberry toppings. Last, sprinkle minced rosemary on top as a garnish.
½ cup Walnuts, 1 tablespoon honey, 2 sprigs rosemary
  • Return to the oven and bake another 10 minutes or until all the toppings are warm and the brie heated to how hot you want it to be.
  • Place on a platter with the apple slices, cut vegetables, and sliced bread for a perfect appetizer platter.

Notes

  • You can stand the brie wheel up on it's side and use a sharp knife to slice the entire crust off the top of the brie wheel. This is easier than chipping away at the top with a cheese knife.
  • Let the brie cheese wheel sit out for 30 minutes covered with a paper towel before cooking it. This will release the ammonia odor.
