Tips for Success

  • For a more intense garlic flavor, roast the garlic cloves before mincing them.
  • If you don't have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley flakes.
  • If you don't have time to make the herbed compound butter, you can use store-bought garlic butter.
  • You can also use frozen bread dough from the grocery store.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use store-bought dough?

Yes! If you're short on time, frozen store-bought dough is a great option.

How long should I let the dough rise?

The dough should rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size. You can test if the dough is ready by poking it with your finger. If the indentation stays, the dough is ready.

What can I do if the dough is too sticky?

If the dough is too sticky, add more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it is no longer sticky.

Food Safety

  • Do not use the same utensils on cooked food, that previously touched raw meat.
  • Wash hands after touching raw meat.
  • Don't leave food sitting out at room temperature for extended periods.
  • Never leave cooking food unattended.
  • Use oils with high smoking point to avoid harmful compounds.
  • Always have good ventilation when using a gas stove.
