How To Make 3 Ingredient Fudge
Making fudge doesn't have to be a long, drawn-out process. In fact, this 3 minute, 3 ingredient fudge is incredibly easy to make and comes out perfect every time.
Melt The Chocolate
- Prepare a 9" x 9" pan with non stick cooking spray, then line with parchment paper. Set the pan aside until ready.
- Place the sweetened condensed milk and the semi sweet chocolate chips into a microwave safe mixing bowl.
- Microwave on high for one minute and stir well.
- Return to the microwave and continue to heat with 15 second intervals.
- Stir after each interval until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Add The Butter And Beat Into The Fudge
- You will add cubed butter and then beat it into this 3 ingredient fudge. This smooths out the texture, prevents grainy texture, and helps it set up properly.
- Add the cubed butter and stir with a spatula.
- Beat with an electric hand mixer to completely blended.
Pour Fudge Into A Pan
- Transfer the beaten fudge into the prepared, parchment lined pan.
- Smooth the fudge out with a spatula and let cool in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours before slicing.
Slice The Fudge
- Once your fudge is cold, take the pan out of the refrigerator. Lift up with the parchment paper to remove from the pan. Lay the slab of fudge on the counter or a cutting board.
- Cut the fudge into square with a sharp knife. I find that after a cut or two it is best to wash the knife off to continue to get clean slices. Let the squares sit out on a platter so that the surfaces dry up and the fudge firms up completely.
