    Our Mexican Fajita seasoning mix is a blend of spices that is used to flavor beef, chicken, or vegetables that are grilled or cooked on a griddle. It's delicious in fajitas, tacos, burritos, and other Mexican cuisine.

    Ingredients For Mexican Fajita Seasoning

    Use this homemade fajita seasoning to make the best fajitas ever. The vibrant spice flavors are perfect for our Chili's Steak Fajitas, and so many other Mexican flavored foods!

    • Chili Powder - You can get bulk size chili powder at Costco.
    • Smoked Paprika
    • Cumin, ground
    • Garlic powder or granules
    • Salt

    How to Make Homemade Fajita Seasoning

    To make your own homemade Mexican fajita seasoning mix, simply combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl. You can use a spoon or your hands to mix the ingredients together.

    Use some nitrile gloves and a disposable face mask if you are making up a large quantity to store, as you can transfer the oils that are spicy to your eyes or lips. Finely ground spices can also make you start sneezing!

    Measure Out Spices

    1. Measure out all the spices into a mixing bowl.

    1. Mix the spices until they are evenly blended.

    PRO TIP: Mix up a double batch and store in spice jars.

    1. Transfer your homemade fajita spice mix to Ball canning jars or small spice jars.

    2. Store in a cool, dry location.

    PRO TIP: Spices last longer when stored out of the light. A dark pantry or cupboard away from oven heat is best.
