Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken Ingredients

I used skinless, boneless chicken breasts for this recipe, but skinless boneless chicken thighs work fantastic also. It's just a matter of whether your family prefers white or dark chicken meat.

Be sure to remove any skin from the chicken, as otherwise it will make the dish very greasy.

  • Chicken breasts - Boneless, skinless. Or use chicken thighs.
  • Pineapple chunks - Use a 20 oz can in juice, or about 3 cups of fresh pineapple chunks.
  • Honey - You can use brown sugar if you don't have any honey.
  • Ginger - Fresh grated. It's much easier to grate frozen ginger root than fresh!
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Salt
  • Red Bell Pepper - Chunked.
  • Cilantro - Fresh chopped cilantro.
