See the recipe below to get the amounts for the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Prepare the Crumble Cookie dough
- Measure the cookie recipe brown sugar, granulated sugar, into a mixing bowl.
- Using an electric hand mixer, cream the sugars and butter. Add the vanilla and mix in well.
- Add the eggs to the bowl of creamed butter and sugars.
- Mix the egg in with the hand mixer, until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Mix the Dry Ingredients
- Measure all the dry ingredients into a bowl. Using a whisk, blend in until the cinnamon is distributed evenly.
- Using the hand mixer, blend in the dry ingredients into the creamed butter & sugar mixture in 3 to 4 increments.
- Make 12 balls from the cookie dough, about ¼ cup each. Roll each dough ball in the reserved cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place six cookie dough balls on a prepared cookie sheet. Press down gently to flatten to about ½" thick.
Bake & Frost
- Make sure each cookie is about 2" apart on the baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes in the prepared 350 F oven. Remove and then transfer the cookies to a cooling rack after 5 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely before frosting.
