How to Make a Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
This is a super easy recipe to make to delight your friends or family. You will have this made and ready to serve in about 30 minutes.
Spread the Dough and Make the Frosting
- Preheat the oven to what the cookie roll instructions say. Spray a 12" pizza pan with non stick spray.
- Spread the cookie dough out to cover the pizza pan.
- Set in oven and bake per directions on the cookie roll.
- Cool completely on a rack.
Frost the Cooled Cookie Cake
- Open the tub of frosting and using a spatula, scrape it out into a bowl. Add some orange gel food coloring. Make it as light or dark orange as you prefer.

- 16.5 oz roll of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1 tub Vanilla or Cream Cheese frosting
- ½ cup Reese's Pieces candies
- ½ cup Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
- ½ cup candy corn
- ¼ cup chocolate chips for melting and drizzling on cookie cake
- 1 tsp butter to melt with the chocolate chips
- orange gel food colorant
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to the temperature stated on the cookie dough roll. Spray a 12" pizza pan with non stick spray.
- Spread the cookie dough out to cover the 12" pizza pan. Bake according to the directions on the roll of cookie dough, or about 14 minutes. Cool completely on a cooling rack.16.5 oz roll of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
- Using a spatula, scrape the frosting out of the tub into a bowl. Add the orange gel food colorant until you have the shade of orange frosting you like.1 tub Vanilla or Cream Cheese frosting, orange gel food colorant
- Spread the frosting over the completely cooled chocolate chips cookie. Sprinkle the Reese's Pieces candies, the candy corn, and the Mini Peanut Butter cups over the top.½ cup Reese's Pieces candies, ½ cup Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, ½ cup candy corn
- Put the chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl with the teaspoon of butter. Melt in the microwave for 20 seconds, check and repeat in 10 second intervals until you can stir is and it is fluid. Drizzle on the cookie cake.¼ cup chocolate chips, 1 teaspoon butter
- Slice and serve!
