You can also substitute two cans of Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls for the Rhodes dinner roll dough. For monkey bread ideas see these variations:
- Pecan Rhodes Monkey Bread - Add chopped pecans to the cinnamon sugar mixture when rolling the dough chunks.
- Walnut Rhodes Monkey Bread- Add chopped walnuts to the cinnamon sugar mixture when rolling the dough chunks.
- Maple Rhodes Monkey Bread - When preparing the icing, add about 1 teaspoon of Maple flavoring extract to the icing mixture.
Storage Options
- Cover any leftovers under a cake dome, plastic tub, or seal in a bag.
- Freeze wrapped in plastic or a zipper freezer bag up to 3 months.
Tips for Success
- Don't over bake.
- Cool for a few minutes, than lay the inverted cake plate on the bundt pan. With one smooth motion, flip together so the bundt pan is on top and slowly lift off to release the pull apart bread.
- Don't allow to cool completely before flipping as the cinnamon sugar can harden and stick to the bundt pan.

Notes
- When baking Rhodes Monkey Bread, cinnamon buns like our Tik Tok Cinnamon Rolls, or this Pumpkin Butter, Ceylon cinnamon is the sweeter, more flavorful choice. It is sweeter and doesn't have a bitter note. Ceylon Cinnamon is always better for baking than the typical Cassia sold as cinnamon.
- Don't fill the bundt pan more than ยฝ full, as your Rhodes rolls dough will expand during the rising, and even more during baking.
