Season the Salmon
- Fill a Dutch oven pot โ full of water and bring to a boil. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain with a colander and turn out into a bowl. Toss with a tablespoon of olive oil so pasta does not stick together.

- Bake or Air Fry the Salmon filet 350 F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the center flakes.
Prepare The Mushrooms and Alfredo Sauce
- Keep your eye on the pasta and the salmon, but while they are cooking start the Alfredo sauce.

- Open the Alfredo sauce of choice, and empty into the saucepan of mushrooms & onions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Putting The Cajun Salmon Alfredo Together

Frequently Asked Questions
The USDA cautions: “do not rinse raw fish, seafood, meat, and poultry. Bacteria in these raw juices can splash and spread to other foods and surfaces. Cooking foods thoroughly will kill harmful bacteria.”
The easiest way to see if your salmon has finished cooking is to gently press down on the top of the fillet with a fork or your finger. If the flesh of the salmon flakes - meaning, it separates easily along the white lines that run across the fillet - it's finished cooking.
