Ingredients For Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls
I based the cooking time on air frying Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. The cooking difference with other brands should be minor, but do be aware that there can be slight temperature difference with every air fryer.
The first time you make this recipe, check your cinnamon rolls at 6 or 7 minutes just until you know how your air fryer cooks.
- Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls - the tube of canned cinnamon rolls.
- Non Stick Cooking spray - Pam, or any brand.

How To Make Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls
So, did you ever wonder if you can air fry Pillsbury cinnamon rolls? You can, but the cooking time and temperature is different than that provided on the can for a regular oven.
How To Open A Tube of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
This can be tricky the first time, but find the loose triangular corner on the tube near one of the end caps. Gently peel that loose end so that it unwinds around the tube of cinnamon rolls.
Now, either use a spoon to press against the seam that runs diagonally on the brown tube, or GENTLY smack the tube against the edge of the counter so that it breaks that diagonal seam. It will pop open with a bit of a 'whoosh' or 'pop' sound. Just like a busted can of biscuits!
Unwind the cardboard tube. Carefully set the small cup of icing to the side so that it doesn't spill. Gently remove the pastry dough discs from the unraveled tube.
Oven and Spread in Air Fryer Basket
- Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with some non stick cooking spray.
- Open the canned tube of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and spread the eight dough discs so that the cinnamon topping is facing UP.
Air Fry Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
- Set your air fryer to 350 F and air fry Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for 8 minutes.
You can use any brand of canned cinnamon rolls, but the cooking time might vary by a minute or two. To be safe, check them at 7 minutes.
Divide the Icing Onto the Rolls
- Spoon a teaspoon of the icing onto still warm Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. Warm, not hot. The icing will immediately start to melt, so using the back of the spoon, smear it around so it coats the top of each cinnamon roll.
Serve while still warm and enjoy.
